Privacy Policy
A plain-language description of the information this version of the GreenDigital Systems website actually collects and uses.
Effective September 9, 2026 • Last reviewed September 9, 2026
1. Scope and contact
This policy describes the current public website practices of GreenDigital Systems LLC at greendigitalsystems.com. Privacy questions or requests may be sent to chris@greendigitalsystems.com.
2. Information you choose to provide
The contact form may collect your name, email address, optional phone number, business name, service interest, and inquiry message. Do not submit passwords, payment-card data, health information, government identifiers, or other sensitive information through general website forms.
3. Free Digital Snapshot
If you use the Free Digital Snapshot, the website URL you enter is sent to a server-side GDS endpoint hosted on Netlify. The endpoint retrieves a limited amount of publicly available website content to evaluate only the surface signals shown in the result. It does not intentionally access private network resources, bypass access controls, or perform a penetration test.
4. Booking through Calendly
Calendly is the booking provider. GDS does not load the Calendly scheduling frame until you actively choose a booking action. Information you submit inside Calendly is processed by Calendly and used by GDS to schedule and prepare for the discovery call. Calendly may use cookies or local storage under its own privacy and cookie practices.
5. Hosting, forms, and service providers
The production site is designed for Netlify hosting, Netlify Functions, and Netlify Forms. These providers may process normal technical information such as IP address, request metadata, abuse-prevention signals, and submitted form data as necessary to deliver and protect the service. GDS may also use providers required to schedule, communicate about, or fulfill a requested service.
6. Analytics, targeted advertising, and sale of data
This build does not install Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other GDS analytics or remarketing trackers. GDS does not sell website inquiry information and does not use website visitor information for cross-context targeted advertising in this build.
7. How information is used
- Respond to inquiries and requested contact.
- Prepare for and conduct requested discovery.
- Provide requested services and maintain business records.
- Protect the website and prevent spam, abuse, fraud, or security incidents.
- Meet applicable legal, accounting, contractual, or recordkeeping obligations.
8. Retention
Information is kept only as reasonably necessary for the inquiry, client relationship, security, business recordkeeping, and applicable legal obligations. Retention can differ depending on whether an inquiry becomes an active client engagement. GDS does not promise a single deletion period where a longer period is reasonably necessary for an active contract, dispute, security event, accounting record, or legal obligation.
9. Disclosure and sharing
GDS may disclose information to service providers that host, secure, schedule, communicate, or operate the site; when necessary to perform a service you requested; to protect rights, users, or systems; or when required by law. GDS does not disclose website inquiry information for payment in this build.
10. Colorado and other U.S. privacy choices
Depending on the law that applies to you and to GDS, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or to opt out of certain processing. Send requests to chris@greendigitalsystems.com. GDS will verify and respond to requests as required by applicable law.
Colorado recognizes Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a universal opt-out mechanism for businesses subject to the Colorado Privacy Act where personal data is sold or used for targeted advertising. This website currently does neither, so a GPC signal does not need to disable any GDS analytics or advertising tracker because none is loaded. If those practices change, GDS must update the site controls and this notice before relying on the new processing.
11. Security
GDS applies reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information processed. No internet transmission or hosted service can be guaranteed completely secure, and this policy does not make an absolute security or compliance claim.
12. Children
This business website is not directed to children and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through its public lead forms.
13. Policy changes
This policy should be updated when actual data practices materially change, including if GDS adds analytics, marketing pixels, new forms, new integrations, materially different data uses, or other tracking technologies.
